The Westwood High School Alumni Council is a proud initiative of the Westwood High School Alumni Scholarship, now entering its third year of supporting outstanding Redhawks in their pursuit of higher education. Since 2024, we have awarded scholarships to over 10 deserving students who have gone on to attend colleges and universities across the country.

This scholarship is made possible through the generous donations of alumni and community members who believe in investing in the future of our students and strengthening the greater Westwood community.

All graduating Redhawks with a minimum 2.3 GPA are encouraged to apply for the WHS Alumni Scholarship. The application process includes a letter of recommendation and a written response section that allows applicants to demonstrate the core Redhawk values of Citizenship, Scholarship, and Engagement.

Recipients are selected based on their ability to advocate for themselves, represent their values, community involvement, and embodiment of these principles as they prepare to take the next step in their educational journey.
